The Real Deal
This apartment was in a centuries old building in the heart of the Alfama District of Lisbonl. The updates to the apartment made our visit very comfortable. The views from the street facing rooms was beautiful, tile faced buildings on a winding narrow road. The apartment was with in easy walking distance of many historic sites in the Alfama and other areas of Lisbon. It was very easy to find small restaurants within a few feet from our door.

Centrally located in lively area
We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. We did not get to meet with Joao whom we had booked through Airbnb but he made all the arrangements to make our stay a pleasant one including accommodating for different arrival times of our group of 6 people, advice on places to visit etc.. Location is in a lively neighbourhood with lots of bar and eating options. ... the soundproof windows on the 2 bedrooms facing the street shuts out all the noise. We could not hear a thing and had a pleasant sleep. The apartment itself is modern, well kept and looks to be recently renovated. We would definitely come back to the apartment again and highly recommend it for families and large groups travelling together.
